I am an astrophysicist.

I study the universe. I build telescopes to observe (mostly) hydrogen in its faintest and most diffuse forms throughout our galaxy and the universe. Primarily in the ultraviolet.

I am the deputy PI of Aspera, a NASA funded Small Satellite UV Telescope that will launch into orbit in 2025. I am the PI of Hyperion, a Medium Explorer class UV telescope proposed in 2021. I am the PI of Eos, a Small Explorer class UV telescope to be proposed in 2025.

I built a telescope called FIREBall-2, and talked about it in a TED talk you should watch.

I am a professor at the University of Arizona. I am the director of the University of Arizona Space Institute
